The Only One God

Allah’s attribute “The One”, and His Name “The Only” occur in more than forty Verses, in the context that the ‘Ilah (God) of mankind is One ‘Ilah, with no other besides Him, that He is The Most Gracious, Most Merciful, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, the Supporter of all, and that we and our Honorable prophet are commanded to acknowledge that Allah is The Only One God:

2:163. And your ‘ilah (God) is One ‘Ilah (God – Allah), La ‘Ilaha ‘illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshiped but He), Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

3:2. Allah! La ‘Ilaha ‘illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshiped but He),-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, the Supporter of all.

4:87. Allah! La ‘Ilaha ‘illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshiped but He).

73:9. La ‘Ilaha ‘illa Huwa (none has right to be worshiped but He).

112:1. Say (O Muhammad (bpbuh)): ” He is Allah, (the) One.

In an Honorable rigorously authenticated Hadith we find that Allah is Witr’ (i.e., odd numbers):

Allah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is Witr (one) and loves ‘the Witr’ (i.e., odd numbers).
